DART provides a free Web-based service called the Trip Planner. You can get up-to-the-minute information that helps plan your route with just a few details. Enter your city of departure, destination, and the time of day you plan to travel. The Trip Planner will offer different routes, including walking directions and transit fare for each leg of the journey.

DART's Trip Planner provides accurate transit itineraries to any address within our service area. Head to the DART homepage and find the Trip Planner on the right-hand side. All you need to do is enter your starting and ending address, along with the date and time of your travel. Our trip planner will tell you the best way to get where you're going, including walking directions if needed and prices.

DART also offers a free electronic subscription service that allows subscribers to receive automatic email or SMS / Text message* notifications when selected information is updated. (* Message and data rates may apply.) To be notified via email, subscribe to My DART UPDATES by entering your email address.

DART has an effortless way for you to get to the DFW Airport and offers regular train services to and from Dallas and neighboring North Texas areas. The DART DFW Airport page makes planning your trip easy. 

  • Buy your ticket online or at any DART station.
  • The Orange Line takes you to and from the DFW Airport.
  • Board your train labeled "DFW," and you're on your way to the Airport Station in Terminal A.
  • When you arrive at the airport, walk through the scenic walkway to Terminal A (lower-level curb/entry A-10).
  • If you need another terminal, the airport's free Skylink people-mover or Terminal Link shuttle buses will take you where you need to go.
    Visit DART.org/DFWAirport to find more information about traveling to and from DFW Airport.

Overnight or long-term parking is at the discretion of the customer.
DART assumes no responsibility for vehicles left overnight. For parking information at any DART station, check the Station Information page or contact DART Station Agent at Parker Road Transit Center for information and permits on 214-979-1111. Agents are available to assist you daily between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Please contact us to receive a printed copy of your timetable. Printed copies are available aboard vehicles and at major DART stations and terminals.

Reduced fares are discounted for seniors aged 65 or older (with a valid DART photo ID), non-paratransit certified persons with disabilities (with a valid DART photo ID), and Medicare card holders. Special rates are available for senior citizens and people with disabilities. Personal assistants ride for free when the person with a disability presents the proper identification. And you do not need to be a Dallas resident to be eligible for the program. Please contact 214-828-6685 to request an application. To obtain any other career opportunity information, please call 214-749-3239. You can use the online application to apply for all positions. The online application link is also found with the job descriptions posted by category. Only applicants selected for further consideration will be contacted.
