The department seeks to accomplish its mission through effectively deploying police officers, fare enforcement officers, and security guards throughout the transit system, to include buses, trains, passenger facilities, and the transitway mall.

DART Police Telecommunicators are trained to try to get as much information as possible to best determine the nature of the problem and its seriousness.
Crime reports must be requested through a Public Information request to DART's Legal Department.
TXDOT CRASH reports may be requested online
at https://cris.dot.state.tx.us/public/Purchase/app/home or obtained in person at or by mail to DART Police Headquarters, 2111 S. Corinth
St. Road, Dallas, Texas 75203. (DART Police Headquarters is located adjacent to Illinois Station.) Accident reports are $6.00 each, payable by cashiers
check or money order only.

If you received a citation for a violation other than fare evasion, read the information on the back or click here. The court's telephone number and important information regarding your responsibilities are provided.
If you fail to complete your legal requirements for any citation, a warrant may be issued for your arrest.
The DART Police Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The administration offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
