DART welcomes feedback from neighbors, businesses and community groups. The agency regularly hosts community meetings and public hearings and encourages public participation.

Feeder service will connect certified Paratransit passengers to the nearest DART passenger facility for a reduced fare. The current Paratransit fare is $3.00 per trip. The feeder fare will be $0.75 for trips that connect the passenger.

A passenger facility is a Park and Ride, rail station, transfer location, or transit center. From there, passengers can transfer to bus and rail, and travel through the entire DART network.

Just like any other Paratransit trip. When a passenger calls Scheduling, he or she will request a trip that begins or ends at a transit facility. The Scheduling Representative will confirm that the trip meets the feeder fare guideline-that is, to the nearest transit facility--and will schedule the trip. When the passenger pays for the trip, the Operator will collect $0.75. That's it!

To provide our passengers with the most efficient and reliable service, mapping software is used to determine the nearest transit facility. No passenger will be asked to make transfers that are more difficult than regular fixed-route bus and rail service.

Passengers can plan a fixed-route trip using DART Trip Planner or by calling DART Customer Information at 214-979-1111.

Call DART Paratransit Services "Where's My Ride" at 214-515-7272, and select Option #2.

No. Passengers can still book a full Paratransit trip for $3.00. Passengers can choose to book a feeder fare for the lower fare.
