Developing a Simpler Fare Structure.
In 2023, DART performed a comprehensive review and analysis of its fare policy. Based on the results, DART has identified a new, simplified structure for fares. We need your input to help inform the DART team and our Board of Directors as they consider these changes.
Review the proposed fare adjustment below.
Other changes under consideration include:
**Changes associated with calendar year-based programs (such as corporate, educational institution, and low-income fare programs) would be effective January 1, 2025.
Make your voice heard! Your thoughts and opinions will guide the DART Board and staff as we consider the best fare solution for our riders and the communities we serve.
Please:
DART is engaging the community for comments regarding a proposed fare restructure. The agency will host community meetings and station open houses throughout the service area. During these events, DART staff will outline the new fare proposal and receive your feedback. By providing your input, you will make your voice heard.
This process will include a formal public hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 6 p.m. at DART Headquarters (located at Akard Station – 1401 Pacific Ave., Dallas, TX, 75202).
Station open house will take place at the respective locations and dates from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
