Photography and Filming on DART Property

Filming is permitted at most DART stations. In addition, you can use our trains, buses, and light rail vehicles to enhance your productions. Following all other rules, transit passengers are permitted to take hand-held still photographs or films for their own enjoyment and use. However, obtaining a permit from the DART communications office is necessary before taking pictures, videos, or creating artwork for any commercial use. As part of its core business mission of providing safe, convenient, and cost-effective transit services with employees committed to excellence and devoted to the needs of our customers, DART will determine whether it will approve or reject requests for commercial use.
